July 2009 - Motley Bar began to come into its own, where missing a Friday night was unthinkable for many. Motley installed fans to combat the heat, but the Bears continued to drink shirtless. What a shame!

People became accustomed to seeing Joe Tresh the photographer there, so the pictures began to get a little crazy. Even Ward from Metro Weekly stopped by to snap a few. My photos began to take on a certain style, trying to fill the frame with bodies and faces often ignoring the horizon. I finally began to embrace the tilt, even relishing how it reminded the viewer that the photos are from an intoxicating experience.
