The Academy of Washington crowned a new Royal Family at the 33rd Royal Ball Feb. 21 at Ziegfeld's in Southwest Washington. The Academy, now nearing its 40th year in existence, held the drag entertainment event after postponing it twice because of the large snowstorms that overtook the DC region.
